At CrossBorder Pickups, we get a lot of questions regarding the topic of firearms and firearm accessories. We are all aware of the risks of sending dangerous weapons across our border hence, there are heavy restrictions placed on shipping firearms and ammunition. As such, it is our policy to not import firearm-related accessories.
It is important to understand that it is the importer’s responsibility to be aware of what they are shipping and to familiarize themselves with the list of forbidden items to ensure they do not violate the rules. We encourage our customers to visit the CBSA website (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/import/iefw-iefa-eng.html) and make sure what they are sending is not amongst the items which are forbidden to be shipped across the border.
CrossBorder Pickups takes no responsibility for any forbidden items which are sent to us to ship across the border. Any investigation, fines, or penalties incurred by violating the rules is the sole responsibility of the customer who initiated the shipment. When in doubt, look it up or ask one of our friendly retail representatives and we would be glad to clarify. If still uncertain, it’s better to not risk it!
